The Toronto Amateur Radio Club is a central Ham club in the city of North York(Toronto), Located on the north side of Toronto, Ontario Canada. The club meets on the third Monday of the month between 7:30pm and 10:00pm local time at the Edithvale Community Centre(on the south side of Finch Avenue West, between Yonge and Bathurst Streets).

The Toronto Amateur Radio Club Operates the Toronto VHF Repeater with an output

on 147.270 (+600) located north-east of the North York area. (Currently down for repairs)


Toronto Club Information

The Toronto Amateur Radio club is offering a course on amateur radio leading to your qualification as a licensed amateur radio operator. Registration will be held each Monday staring in September at 7:00 PM in the Edithvale Community Centre( Note: enrollment is possible for motivated individuals up to November or later!). The registration fee will be about $40 (reasonable!) including full club membership, registration and examination. (The TCA Study Guide and Question Bank are extra, usually obtained at RadioWorld or Radio Shack.) The course will cover basic radio theory, regulations and optional morse code (no longer required to get your basic license).
